The Foundation Il Cuore Dell'Arte was founded in 2021 by Cuore Piano Trio. It aims to promote classical music, in particular the unknown Polish music, in Poland and abroad. The recent projects of the Foundation include a concert series "Cuore Piano Trio im Alten Rathau" in Vienna (est. 2025), as well as the Frieman International Summer Music Festival in Lubelskie Voivodeship, which will take place in August 2025.

RECENT PROJECTS
Frieman International Summer Music Festival
INTRODUCTION
On 15–17 August 2025, the inaugural edition of the Frieman International Summer Music Festival took place – a new initiative by the Il Cuore Dell’Arte Foundation, which brought the new voice of chamber music to historic venues in the Lubelskie Voivodeship: the Church of St. Stanislaus BM in Czemierniki and the Crown Tribunal in Lublin. The mission of the festival is to bring high culture also to places that rarely host events of international stature.
PROGRAM AND ARTISTS
The festival opened on 15 August in Czemierniki with a recital by Liliana Dulanska (violin) and Nikolaus Besthorn (viola), presenting works by Henryk Wieniawski, Ignaz Pleyel, Paul Wranitzky and Leopold Jansa. On the following day, 16 August, at the Crown Tribunal in Lublin, Zuzanna Budzyńska (violin) and Szymon Ogryzek (piano) presented a program that included rarely performed works by Romuald Twardowski, alongside compositions by Wieniawski and César Franck. The finale on 17 August, again in Czemierniki, featured a Baroque–Romantic repertoire, with Szymon Ogryzek this time at the organ, joined by Zuzanna Budzyńska.
IDEA AND CONTEXT
The festival’s concept is to balance the cultural map of the region: concerts are held not only in prestigious venues but also in spaces not previously used for musical events. As artistic director, Szymon Ogryzek emphasizes, the festival “opens a small window from Vienna towards the Lublin region”, connecting the international experience of young artists with the local audience.
PATRONAGES AND PARTNERS
The event was organized with the support of the Lublin Voivodeship (Województwo Lubelskie - Urząd Marszałkowski Województwa Lubelskiego), under the Honorary Patronage of the Marshal of the Lublin Voivodeship Jarosław Stawiarski and the Honorary Patronage of the Radzyń County Governor Szczepan Niebrzegowski. It was also supported by the Slovak Institute in Warsaw and the Henryk Wieniawski Music Society in Lublin. Media patrons included the Polish Music Information Centre POLMIC, TVP 3 Lublin, and Polish Radio Lublin.
We thank the audience and all partners for co-creating the first edition of the festival and invite you to follow updates on our upcoming projects through our channels.

Women in the Arts
On February 21, 2025, a special event titled Women in the Arts: Through Poetry and Sound took place in Lublin. The evening featured poetry by the 20th-century Polish poet Maria Pawlikowska-Jasnorzewska, combined with a concert of music by forgotten European and American female composers. The event filled the concert hall of the Hieronim Łopaciński Regional Public Library in Lublin to capacity. The performers included: Zuzanna Budzyńska (violin), Szymon Ogryzek (piano), and Dorota Mościbrodzka (recitation). The event was organized by the Il Cuore Dell'Arte Foundation in collaboration with the Hieronim Łopaciński Regional Public Library. A special aspect of the event was the cooperation with the Deaf Association "Migiem przez Świat" Lublin, which prepared translations of the texts into Polish sign language. An induction loop system was also provided to facilitate participation for individuals using hearing aids. The media patronage of the event was provided by Polish Radio Lublin. The event partner was the Lublin Voivodeship. Lubelskie – Taste life!
